Additionally, by providing any Personal Information related to the individual about whom you create a myCares account, you agree that you have obtained the applicable and appropriate permission, releases and consents from such individual to the extent necessary to provide such individual’s Personal Information to Carelify as part of your use of the Carelify Services.
  • We retain information on your behalf, such as photos, videos, stories, messages, and other contents that you post using your account or using myCares’ account.
  • Please note that only you and the people you give access to (i.e. Helpers) will have access myCares account.
  • If you provide us feedback or contact us via e-mail, we will collect your name and e-mail address, as well as any other content included in the e-mail.
  • When you participate in one of our surveys, we may collect additional profile information.

 

Information We Collect via Technology

  • In order to provide better quality of service, we make use of third-party analytics services in order to track statistics in aggregate across our Site and Services. These services collect and store information such as how you interact with our Site, errors you encounter when using our Services, browser type, operating system, domain name, date/time stamp, IP addresses, device identifiers, how often you visit the Site, and what pages you visit. If you choose to use the Carelify Services to invite a third party to access a MyCare Profile created by you, we will ask you for such third party’s name and email address. We will automatically send the third party a one-time email inviting him or her to use the Carelify Services. We store this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email.

If Carelify is ever involved in a bankruptcy, merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, your information may be sold or transferred as part of that transaction. This policy will apply to your information as transferred to the new entity.

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this policy, we may preserve or disclose your information (including any communications on or through our system) in connection with any legal investigation or if we believe that it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation or legal request or to protect the safety, property, or rights of Carelify or others.

You can modify or delete your personal information, manage your preferences by editing your account information and/or following the instructions on the Site or Application. You are also able to delete your account on our Site. Removal of your Account will not remove myCares profiles if it’s linked with your Helpers.

When you receive such marketing communications from us, you may indicate a preference to stop receiving further marketing communications from us and you will have the opportunity to “opt-out” by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in the e-mail you receive or by contacting us directly at [email protected]. Despite your indicated e-mail preferences, we may send you service related communication, including notices of any updates to our terms of use or privacy policy.

Carelify is very concerned with safeguarding your sensitive and vital information. We employ reasonable physical, technological, and administrative security measures and attempt to ensure they are applicable under the circumstances.
